Is it just a spot or is it a bump.?
If it is just a spot, it could be a scar. Scars can be a red or a deep purple, but I know somebody that has a scar with a bit of a greenish tint to it.
If it is a bump (like mole shaped), then I would go get it checked out right away by your doctor. It's better to be safe than sorry. It could be a sign of melanoma.
I highly doubt it's melanoma though if you're only 14.
Either way, you should probably ask your doctor just to be sure.
Oh another thing. Did you just get this recently or has it been there a long time.? If you just got it recently, then it might be a cut/scratch that has gotten infected.Health Question & Answer
