Tonsilitis / Tonsil stones and LEMONS?!

Question: Tonsilitis / Tonsil stones and LEMONS.?
i woke up this morning with a screaming pain in my throat - my tonsils had inflated, turning crimson like peppers.

This usually happens when theres a build up of tonsil stones in my tonsils, which cant get out.

I cut a fresh lemon and ate it out of desperation, since i'm allergic to honey and hate warm water with salt.

To my surprise and relief, my tonsils shrunk and became normal again and i didnt get any pains.

So, my question is, is lemon harmful to tonsils (it might have worked once by luck maybe - but will it work again.?) and also, are tonsil stones acid or alkali.?.?.?

Thanks!Health Question & Answer

CHOC !
lemon contains citric acid which is very acidic and sour . sour thing are harmful to teeth, throat, stomach and kidneys. so if it worked once ,doesnt mean will work always so dont try it further ! you could take anti-biotic or to see doctor.
self-medication shouldnt be done , tonsils must be cured well o.k dear because if they are not treated in time they become inheritance of next generation.
so plz get a better treatment and get well soon.Health Question & Answer
