Question: How to take care of an Abcess.?
Hello, I have an abcess above a fake tooth of mine. There is no root to this tooth, it is just a rod or stud with a crown or capped tooth.

The abcess feels like a tight swollen ball. I understand that the head needs to show in order to pop it with a needle but I don't have to have another tooth removed do I.? Would anti-biotics be enough to deal with this.?Health Question & Answer

No. An abscess must be opened, drained, THEN antibiotics are given.
