I have tiny little blisters on the corner of my mouth that are red and hurt when I open my mouth wide. Not only is it painful, it's pretty unattractive. They dry up and it looks like I have food on my face.

It's prob not a cold sore if it is the corners. It could be an fungal infection. I had it before I got my braces and my dentist gave me a cream to use on it. You will prob need some kind of meds to get rid of it.Health Question & Answer
Eating Kiwi (fruit) is helpful. I also understand that if you have a zinc deficiency, you are more prone to having those cuts or blisters (if they are not herpes.) Get some zinc lozenges and suck on one a day.Health Question & Answer
