Bump next to my cartilage piercing? (proffesional piercer please help!)?!
Question: Bump next to my cartilage piercing.? (proffesional piercer please help!).?
I got my cartilage pierced last November.
I started to see this bump about two weeks to a month ago.

Do you know what it is.?
How do I cure it.?
I heard about the sea salt thing. Does that work.? Does it have to be SEA salt or can it just be iodized salt.?
Is there any other solutions.?
If it's infected, do I have to get prescription from my doctor to get antibiotics at the pharmacy.?
What should I do.?!Health Question & Answer

Yes, the sea salt soaks will get rid of that easily. I used to have like 3 of those on my Industrial. Do some sea salt soaks with SEA salt (never iodized salt). There are also pre-made solutions like H2Ocean ( http://www.h2ocean.com/ ) that basically accomplish the same things. You can buy it at a tattoo parlor or even Hot Topic.
If it does get infected, I would suggest something my piercer suggested to me: Bactine. It is pain free and clears up infections really quickly. It's like a miracle solution. But that's only if it hurts / seems infected. The seal salt soaks is really all you need as of now. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

Just remember to wash behind your ears with soap and water.
Don't worry about it.
It should go away soon. ;)Health Question & Answer
