over the past month i have been spitting up mucus... i don't know whats going on... recently i cought a really bad cold. and the mucus build up seems even bigger.. seeing how i cant breath without spitting it out. I am 16 year old, and i have been a smoker for 1 year now (not sure if this matter's) i quit recently, but that didnt help, any advice on what might help me.? i feel like imm dying, i dont have a thirst for ciggarettes, but the mucus build up is killing me. Could be an upper respiratory tract infection. Could be caused by dust from being inside too much. If its green or yellow its a sign of infection so talk to a doctor and get some antibiotics.Health Question & Answer
