What makes mucus different colors?!
Question: What makes mucus different colors.?
I am getting over a cold, and remember someone - like my Grandmother or something - telling me that bright colored mucus meant infection.
This is kind of nasty, but when I blow my nose it is orange. Bright orange - like Orange Juice. There is a lot of pollen in the air, so is that what's causing it.? Or is it infection.?Health Question & Answer

Yellow or green mucus generally means you have an infection.
