This goes for women of all ages. They advertise it and offer it free for women up to age 29 but you can ask you doctor for it at any age. You never know what strains you've been exposed to or what you might still be exposed to.
I'm on my umpteenth 29th birthday and requested it from my doc. I had to pay $180 for it at first but later received a refund from my HMO. I wasn't charged for either of the subsequent two shots several months apart (there are 3 in the series).
