Throat or thyroid cancer possibility?!
Question: Throat or thyroid cancer possibility.?
For a little over 3 weeks now I have felt or get the sensation that there is something in my throat. I don't feel it constantly though. There will be days where I feel it when I swallow. Then there will be days when I don't feel anything. My tonsils also irriate me. Usually when I drink something cold they feel like they become hardened. Or sometimes when I eat something large and bulky I get a quick feeling of tenderness on them. The same with me throat when I swallow at times. I will sometimes get a pain between my adam's apple and thyroid when I swallow liquids that last for less than a second. The roof of my mouth also feels dry and makes breathing with my mouth discomforting. I just feel a general sense of mouth ache, and throat discomfort. Another thing that i've noticed is that my tonsils look a bit inflamed and mildly red. No spots or anything on them though.
I don't have swollen glands. I don't have swollen lymph nodes or fever. Or no aches or pains anywhere else. I do not feel or have any lumps on the rest of my body either.
I am 20 years old. I don't drink. I've never smoked or chewed tobacco in my life. And I live in a smoke free house. I still have my tonsils. I don't have insurance yet so I haven't gone to the doctor. I am just looking for opinions or people who have had this sort of discomfort lasting this long. Thank you.Health Question & Answer
