Question: Could someone please tell me is subseptate variety of uterus life threatning.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?
My friend had a ultrasound done and it said she had subseptate variety of uterus.? Is this life threatning or is it cancer.? I do not know and my friend is worried because her dr told her to see a gynacologist because of this.? If anyone knows could you please answer ThanksHealth Question & Answer

It is not life threatening or cancer. If it was cancer, the doctor would have had her see an oncologist and said it could be cancer. Basically her uterus is divided. It can cause fertility problems, but it can be treated by surgery or left alone. It's her decision to make after a visit to her gyno to find out how divided her uterus is.Health Question & Answer
