If I were you I would get another opinion. Not so much because your doctor said not to worry yet. But because if it sounds and feels uncomfortable to you, it will interfere with your daily functions, and you need peace of mind. It could be the case that everything is ok, it is just a cyst, not causing problems "yet". You want to be 100% sure, especially if thyroid problems run in the family.
