I'm randomly itchy all over!?!

Question: I'm randomly itchy all over!.?
I am 15 and run cross country in high school. Sometime last week (Wednesday I think) i began randomly itching in random places all over my body. These itching fits are most common on my thighs and glutes. I can resist itching them but it is very difficult. After not itching them or waiting they go away (10 minutes roughly) and appear later without a rash. This has been happening for roughly a week and i know that my mom hasn't switched detergents or anything like that. I feel I may be allergic to sometime in the air or when it gets hot or I exercise. I have been going swimming often so i don't know if chlorine has anything to do with it but i'd like to know whats going on and how to fix it. Thanks in advance.Health Question & Answer

This does sound like an allergic reaction. To stop the itching try witch hazel. You might also benefit from a body cleanse. If the itching still persists, see a doctor to better identify the allergen.Health Question & Answer

It could be the chlorine. Make sure you shower as soon as you can after swimming. also, it might be making your skin dry, so use a moisturizer after the shower. Oil free.Health Question & Answer

The sweat on my legs when I run makes me itchy, and painfully so. I think it itches less if you use lotion/ mosturizing bodywash.Health Question & Answer

I know this sounds weird, but this sounds like it could be a laundry detergent/fabric softener thing. It is the number one reason for rashes and irritation.
