What is sore lump in throat.?
i woke up this morning and my throat overall is not sore but on the right side (about where you would take a pulse) there feels like a sore lump on the inside. I can feel it when I swallow but not by touching throat with hand, fingers. each time i swallow there's also lots of phlegm that tries to come up. this type of problem has happened to me year after year since I was 8 yrs. old. What is all this and how can I fix it without going to doc.? Like so many Americans i don't have time or health care. Health Question & Answer

That's a swollen lymph gland. It means you have an infection somewhere in your body that needs to be attended to asap by a doctor.
