Why Frequent Urinating?!

Question: Why Frequent Urinating.?
I am fourteen and for the last year and a half i have ben going pee quite frequently. Around five to six times a day. I do drink a little more then usual, but i don't believe that it accounts for how much I pee. On an eating scale i usually crave granola bars, and sugary drinks. After looking around a bit the closest thing to my symptoms would be diabetes. I am going to the doctor soon to gets some blood tests, and that might reveal something. Is there any other reason for this.?Health Question & Answer

Urinating 5-6 times a day isn't that extraordinary, especially if you are taking in a lot of fluids. Sure, Diabetes should be a explored and to rule it out is quick and inexpensive. Unless this is disrupting your daily activities, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I am 30y/o and also urinate with a similar frequency, but I drink tons of water, so it's no big deal. You don't really want the list of the diagnosis that can cause polyuria, not yet anyway.Health Question & Answer

I would say that the sugary drinks are not so good and that you should try drinking more water, but 5-6 times a day isn't too out of the ordinary. If you are drinking more that usual that is probably the reason. If you are voiding good amounts and feel like your bladder empties each time you are probably okay. Health Question & Answer

5-6 times a day is not really bad. You should be drinking more water though and not so many sugary drinks. Health Question & Answer
