Health Question & Answer

Answers:
kidney dysfunction varies in severity..depending on the glomerular filtration rate...

however, symptoms also vary... ppl have kidney failure without even knowing..and others come of the "typical" symptoms written in books

incontinence = not being able to stop the urine flow.. and it could be a sign in high output renal failure... .?ever it is not sensitive nore specific for that disease

there is something that called "stress incontinence".. i believe you have that ! go and c a doctor...that is the best way ! :D Health Question & Answer

it might be incontinence.
according to yahoo health the main symptom of urinary incontinence is the accidental release of urine.there are 3 types:
-stress incontinence, you may leak a small to medium amount of urine when you cough, sneeze, laugh, exercise, or do similar things.
-urge incontinence, you may feel a sudden urge to urinate and the need to urinate often. With this type of bladder control problem, you may leak a larger amount of urine that can soak your clothes or run down your legs.
-mixed incontinence, you may have symptoms of both problems

go to a urologist, it might even associated to a diseaseHealth Question & Answer

This is a bladder issue, and not a renal one. Stress incontinence is mainly a female problem. It is more common with age and also in women who have had traumatic deliveries or poor suturing afterwards.

Pelvic floor exercises are often a helpful management, sometimes called Kegel exercises, after the obstetrician who developed them.

Over the years I have found the various drugs less than helpful, despite the manufacturer's claims. The other option is surgery, best reserved for the more severe cases, it is complex and has a definite fail rate.Health Question & Answer

You are describing 'Stress Incontinence' associated with weakened pelvic floor musculature. Urinary infection can certainly contribute - either way its worth seeing your doctor because both conditions can be helped.Health Question & Answer
