Question: Cardiac Tests.? results.?
Just wondering if anyone knows how long the results last for
i mean after an echo an ecg an exercise stress test for example
got the all clear on them all just wondering will the results stay the same for many years if i live a healthy life i have been told all artieries are clear and everything so would it take about 30 years or so to develop heart diseace from bad living.?
just basically wanting to do when should you get re tested and does it take decades to get heart diseace.? true answers only pleaseHealth Question & Answer

It sound like you got a bit of a scare and even though the results are fine you have some lingering anxieties. You need to put this to bed now mate - you've got a clean sheet so stop worrying and get-on with living your life - having the advantage of knowing how best to keep the old ticker healthy. nothing can guarantee health, those tests are as good as we have but you can die from a heart attack after leaving the dr's office with a nml ekg and echo. all you can do is keep track of blood pressure and cholesterol levels and eat healthy foods and exercise is most important.
