Question: Can i take legal action againts my Doctor.?.?.?.?.?.? Please help.?
Ive been going to my doctor for kidney pain but he doesn't want to help me. I had a CT scan done and he failed to tell me i had a heart problem. I am no longer going to that Dr. but what are some actions i can take for him not caring and not wanting to look in to the problem further. Ive been going to another Dr who is getting to the bottom of the problem. Please HELP Health Question & Answer

I'd contact a good word of mouth malpractice lawyer...anytime you don't feel like someone YOU PAY took good enough care of you, you have every right to follow that up.
I'm not sure exactly of all the laws in your state and your exact situation but there should be something done about this. This is how people die...because their healthcare represenatives don't give them the best care that every patient deserves!
I'd start with contacting your state board of medical practices, getting in touch with state agencies, malpractice lawyers, anyone whom might be able to re-direct you to the best possible place.
And I'm sorry, the gentleman that answered before me doesn't know for sure if anything your Doctor did was negligent...you might not walk away with a bunch of money but you won't have to pay for second rate healthcare, you'll have better piece of mind and maybe just maybe that won't happen to another person! No. Doctor's don't have do anything, but must follow their Hippocratic oath which you can look up and read.
Lack of interest, even incompetence is not a good enough reason for legal action.
