Question: Do I throw out mascara used one day prior to pink eye.?
I know my contact lenses have got to go, but what about my mascara.? I haven't used it since yesterday and woke up this morning with pink eye. So, seeing I wasn't contagious yesterday, should I still throw out my mascara.? Health Question & Answer

I would not chance it and just throw it out. The money for another mascara is not worth the grief you have to put up with if you get another eye infection.Health Question & Answer
Pink eye is extremely contagious. Using the mascara will reinfect you. After you throw it away, wash your hands as well. think about it, if you are throwing away your contacts, mascara has to go to.Health Question & Answer
Yes. Pink eye has an incubation period. It could very well be totally gone, or in your mascara. You can always buy more later.
