Question: Need advise from anyone who has been priscribed Ciprofloxacin.......?
Hi i have been prescribed Ciprofloxacin 500g twice a day. They are making me feel terrible, however i have been assure that this is normal whilst taking these tablets. Can anyone who has been on these tablets tell me how they made them feel.?Health Question & Answer

It makes me queezy and I get heart burn.. Make sure you don't take it within 2 hours of taking any antacids, calcium or iron. Don't drink dairy within 2 hours of taking cipro and try to stay out of the heat and sun as much as possible. Taking the cipro makes you burn like there is no tomorrow while in the sun.

I tend to do alright if I stick to those guide lines. I find for me if I set the alarm for an hour or so before I have to get up and take the cipro then and go back to sleep and then take it a few hours before bedtime that I don't notice the side effects that much. Like If you have to be up at 8am then set your alarm for 6 or 7 and take the cipro and go back to sleep for a couple hours and then later that night take it around 7pm so that your headed to bed soon.

Good luck I hope it helpedHealth Question & Answer
