When you have a lump in your throat?!
Question: When you have a lump in your throat.?
I have had a lump in my throat for about 3 - 4 months now and over time has gotten to be a mild achy pain and sometimes hurts my jaw and ear..... It is not a cold and manly I have some dry burning sensation in the back of my throat. I know you can't diagnose me but I wonder if anyone knows the warning signs of cancer. I am a smoker smoking up to 2 packs a day at times and I am 23 yrs of age smoking since I was 12. If anyone could tell me that these are warning signs of cancer than I can move ahead as I am greatly in fear of going to a doctor.. ThanksHealth Question & Answer

it may be some symtoms, but you can't confirm wat it is unless it you visit a doctor. Its best to cut down your smoke too though. well, how big is that lump.? it might be goitre where the thyroid gland in your throat swell up due to lack of iodine. Still, it's just a possibility. You HAVE some of the warning signs. You're experiencing them now. Pain, unexplained lumps, changes in mucus membranes and tissues.
GET TO A DOCTOR. And QUIT SMOKING.
