WHAT ARE CONVENTIONAL VACCINES?!

Question: WHAT ARE CONVENTIONAL VACCINES.?
GIVE ME ITS DEFINATION AND EXAMPLESHealth Question & Answer

Answers:
Salk polio vaccine is a conventional vaccine. It's made with polio virus that has been killed. The dead virus will prompt the body to create antibodies, an immune response, to introduction of the virus. The Sabin vaccine is made with weakened live polio.

I would define a conventional vaccine as one that is made with the stuff that it's supposed to protect against, or with a biological agent in a family close enough to cause the body to make antibodies.

Another one is the chickenpox vaccine, made with the relatively innocuous cowpox virus. The cowpox triggers an immune response that protects against chickenpox.Health Question & Answer
