Question: I have had swollen tonsils for almost 4 months now my main symptom is tiredness .?
although i occasionally get a fever,earaches,headaches,abdominal pain and muscle pain. i have been diagnosed With tonsillitis about 2 months ago but 3 courses of antibiotics later i'm still feeling tired. a blood test for glandular fever has come back negative and he's sent away for another test. i was thinking it was probably viral tonsillitis but surely it can't last 3 months.?any ideas of what it might be.? please help as i'm missing alot of school and work.

The best thing to do at this point is have them take them out.My kids had tonsillitis all the time and we finally had the Dr take them out.After this they have not been sick but maybe once or twice a year.Health Question & Answer
