Is it at all possible to contract Human Papillomavirus(HPV) if both partners are virgins? ?!

Question: Is it at all possible to contract Human Papillomavirus(HPV) if both partners are virgins.? .?
Here's the thing: My girlfriend and I are both virgins, and neither of us have had sex before. My past relationships never got past first base, and I'm curious as to if there is a possibility of either of us contracting HPV.
I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I know how commonplace the virus is and I just want to make sure. I don't know if she's gotten the Gardasil vaccination or not. Is it possible to contract HPV non-sexually.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
HPV is sexually transmitted. If neither of you have had any kind of sex (including oral) then there is no way that you could have HPV.
It takes one having HPV in order to pass it on. You should ask her if she has gotten the vaccine, that is one way to find out.
HPV normally occurs on the genitals so if you haven't had genital contact with her or any one else then I would think that you having HPV would not be possible. I don't believe there is no way to contract HPV non sexuallyHealth Question & Answer

No its not possible. You both will be fine. HPV is a sexually transmitted disease, only caught from another person sexually.

Just remember to always use a condomHealth Question & Answer
