What's the best way to treat a red bumpy rash on my back that itches like crazy?!
Question: What's the best way to treat a red bumpy rash on my back that itches like crazy.?
Two days ago, I was at a park and was bothered by a swarm of gnat like bugs. Shortly after I left, my back started itching and I felt pin prick sensations for awhile. The next day, the left side of my back was red and bumpy. I treated the itching with Lana-cane. The rash does not appear to be improving. If anything it's worse and the itching is keeping me awake! I have 10 days until my health care insurance kicks in for dr visits. Any suggestions in the meantime.? I should also just mention that in the past couple of weeks I have used the whirlpool at a fitness center. However, the reaction came immediately after contact with the bugs--so I don't think it's hot tub related.Health Question & Answer
