its is probably just a birth mark. I have on in the inside of my thigh that was always flat and shaped like a jelly bean. Not it is raised and not shaped the same way. I wish that I would have gotten it removed a long time ago. I suggest that you tell you doctor your concerns and then get it removed.Health Question & Answer
if it covered most of the time chances are its fine, however if it changes in shape, colour, starts to itch or feels sore you should deffo get it checked, you can ask the dr to refer you to get it cut out though, my stepmam has just had hers done, if it gets exposed to sun, say when you go on hoilday then you should have it removed just to be on the sfae side Health Question & Answer
if you've had it for 20 years, then it's nothing to worry about!
i've got LOTS of moles, most of them are raised, flat, hairy, rough, smooth and kind of discolored, but i've had these since the day i was born and they've not changed at all.
if your worried that much, see a dermatologist.Health Question & Answer

The only thing that anyone should be worried about a mole is it turning malignant (cancer). But your mole doesn't sound like it is so. Worry never solve anything. If your doctor tells you to get it removed, do so.Health Question & Answer
Don't feel afraid to ask. They can tell you. It may just be a birthmark, but if you question it, it's worth checking out.Health Question & Answer
ask a doctor...
they won't judge you, and it is their job to help...
plus they've probably dealt with things a LOT worse than a mole...
