What happens when you are allergic to some fruit?!

Question: What happens when you are allergic to some fruit.?
I dont know why but whenever I eat apples, peaches, or plums..I throw up...Is it because I am allergic or is there another reason.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:

I'm pretty sure there are acids or chemicals in things such as oranges apples and peaches.

My friend has sort of the same problem.
-She gets itchy throat and her tongue swells badly.
-She went to er doctor yesterday actually! She got blood taken to see if she had allergies.

I'd suggest talking to your doctor or even a nutritionist to see what's in the fruit. Hope I helped (:eHealth Question & Answer

This doesn't sound at all like an allergic reaction. Fruit allergies are relatively rare, usually mild and they tend to manifest as itching, rashes and/or blisters, especially around the mouth.

I believe there is an entirely different reason why you vomit. But, like the other person said, if this is your response to apples, peaches and plums then why do you continue to eat them.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

If you know that's going to happen; why do you keep doing it.? Just knowing they will make you sick would be a GOOD reason to stay away from them. Just eat the fruits that agree with you. A lot of people have foods that don't agree with them and they have to do the same thing....don't eat them. Simple.
Try some other fruits. There are many out there that are delicious. You may find a few more to put on the bad list.Health Question & Answer
