Really Itchy Ears & Sore Throat?!
Question: Really Itchy Ears & Sore Throat.?
I'll start with the sore throat as it is the most painful of my two problems. My glands are up and my tonsils are swollen. They have white patches on them and it is red all around them. The patches only appeared yesterday but my throat has been sore since Friday.
also the insides of my ears are itchy, quite deep down. I have cleaned them with cotton buds and not much dirt came out. They are really annoying.
Are the two connected.? I am going to see my gp about my bad throat tomorrow but I need to know if they are connected so that I can tell him about them too, but I don't want to trouble him with something silly!

YES they are connected! i think you may have tonsillitis,the symptoms are the same red and swollen tonsils pain on swallowing you may have a fever, coughing headaches, tiredness,pain in your ears or kneck, white pus on your tonsils and swollen lymph nodes(glans) in your kneck.its nothing to worry about. but go and see you doctor they will give you something to clear this.Health Question & Answer
Im not a doctor ........just take antihistamin with paracitamal........ thats all...... SO.. typically WHite patched on tonsils, SWOLLEN tonsils.. sonds like Strep.. and anythng in your throat is related to your ears as they are all connested.. drainage from your nose gets to your ears.. allergies in throat make ears itch..
