Could this be a brain tumor?!

Question: Could this be a brain tumor.?
For quite a long time my mom has always complained about headaches by her eyes. She sort of has like hangover symptoms. A pounding headache, anything she eats or drinks she'll throw up. It doesn't happen regularly at all. Health Question & Answer

Answers:
This sounds more like the symptoms of migraine. Does your mom have any vision disturbances, eg, flashing lights or zigzag patterns before her eyes.? Some people have numbness of the face and vomiting is a classic migraine symptom. She should see a doctor, there are some really good treatments out there now. She may find that certain foods can trigger a migraine headache, chocolate, cheese, citrus fruits and red wine are well-known triggers, as is missing meals or being over-tired. My mom has suffered these for years, they have lessened in severity as she has got older but not in frequency. Brain tumours are very rare, so try not to worry too much, but get your mom to see the doctor anyway, I'm sure he'll be able to treat her. Health Question & Answer

Could be but I would start with looking at her diet. I had the same thing happen to me and it was food allergy, actually not allergy but a reaction to chocolate. also make sure she is well hydrated, drinking lots of water.

Have her keep a diet diary of everything she eats.Health Question & Answer

get her blood pressure tested, my mum had this, and her blood pressure was so dangerously high she has to see a specialist asap. Its easily controlled with tablets and diet change so dont worry too much, the chances of a brain tumour are very slim . I hope this helps .Health Question & Answer
