Is it Veritgo or my Vision?!

Question: Is it Veritgo or my Vision.?
Okay, so I've noticed that sometimes if I turn my head too fast, my vision jitters/shakes for a split second. Like, it goes the opposite way sometimes, etc.

also, I don't know if it's my imagination, or what, but whenever I'm thinking about something, like if I have to go to the bathroom and I THINK about going, my vision gets shaky for a split second.

It also sometimes, feels like the back of my brain moves when my vision jitters/shakes. I've had tests done for Anemia, Diabeties, Cat scan on my head, thyroid test, blood test, anything, you name it. Nothing wrong.

I DO have anxiety which I take Clonazepam/Klonpin for. 1 pill a day only 1 mg a pill. But the vision thing started happening WAY before I started taking that.

Could there be something wrong with my eyes.? I mean, I can see fine, and I can read extremly small words very well, but my mom says even though, there could be something wrong with my eyes.

I'm going to the eye doctor AND going to my doctor soon about this.

I just wanted to see what you guys thought and maybe some of you have experienced/been experiencing this.?

I KEEP an ear infection, by the way.

You really should explain these symptoms to a doctor, instead of scaring yourself with non-doctor diagnosis.

you keep an ear infection.? In that you have it all the time.? Well there's your cuase right there. It's your balance going wonky sometimes.Health Question & Answer

Do you swim or used to swim.?. Do you or did you do diving.? The answer does not matter - even if you used to swim or dive some years back.

IF yes, then there in lies the answer. If no, then you have to read further.

The pool water has infected your inner ear and the fluid that keeps the balance is infected. It is easy to treat but you need a ENT specialist.

First, the ENT will insert something and take out your wax and try and take a sample of your inner ear fluid. He will ask you to smell. If it is bad, then yes you have infection. But do not worry, he will prescribe something to get you going.

Inner ear infection takes about 3 or 4 months to clear. The confusion you describe is due to infection and imbalance. You probably even feel the room's corner is floating, the floor is slanted and you feel as if you are sleeping at an angle or you feel as if you float and slowly move in an anti-clockwise direction. All this is because of inner ear infection. Such funny things are terrible to experience. It ruins your entire day.

A doctor can help you. Tell them to look at the ear infection. Sometimes you need to help the doc.Health Question & Answer

the ear infection could DEFINITELY be the cause of that. when there is swelling in your inner ear, it can mess up your equilibrum, and the fluids that help you maintain your balance (in your ear) may cause a pressure change that is not normal, etc... when you turn your head quickly.
the problem yu are having with thinking about going to the bathroom sounds psychological to me, but i definitely agree that it could be intensified by your anxiety.
your mother is right, if technically COULD be something with your eyes, but the fact that you see fine other than that makes me think that it's something else. it could be something pressing on your optical nerve, but your best bet is to go to those appointments you have.

i do not think it is vertigo. i have had vertigo, and my mother has, as well, several times. you cannot walk straight when you have vertigo, everything is spinning and you may feel like you are falling backwards, even. if you had vertigo, you would be so distraught you would have called your doctor immediately.

it could also be dehydration. perhaps not severe, but it still could be. even if you ARE drinking several glasses of water each day, it might not be enough. humans need 1-2 liters of fluid each day in order to maintain proper hydration.

good luck!Health Question & Answer
