Yesterday was my step-sis's b-day and my step-grandma was there. She has shingles but i thought it would be okay to hug her.
Last night i noticed a bump on my finger that looked similar to my chicken pok scar.

Just had shingles. Those who said if you had a very mild case when you were young you could get it again are wrong. You ould get shingles though. Usually on 1 side of your body following a nerve.
Adult chicken pox is called Herpes Zoster & can cause itching, & pain...it is treated with Valtrex if caught early & I was told to put Gentamycin (topical antibiotic on the blistered blotches.
