Question: Does Gilbert's Syndrome mean lack of bile.?
i know its a defficency in an enzyme to help break down bilirubin, but people who suffer with this, do they also have a lack of bile.?Health Question & Answer

It explains it in the above link - it's not caused by a lack of bile, just a slow down of how a particular liver enzyme is working. If it was lack of bile, then anyone who has had their gallbladder removed would suffer from it. It also says that it's a finding, not a disease and that it isn't harmful and can be ignored.Health Question & Answer
