Could this be gallstones? ?!

Question: Could this be gallstones.? .?
How can I tell what's going on.?

*I have IBS (my doctor says thats what I have because he cant find any other cause)
*I'm recovering from acute sinusitis (I took Azithrymycin Tues-Thurs. 3 Day Cycle). My fever and head congestion went away on Thursday
*Constipated from Thursday till today. Today I had like 3 BMs which wasn't surprising since I couldnt go for like 4 days.
*My temp is currently 99.0. It seems to go from 98.9-99.5 from hour to hour...(it's normally 97.0-97.5)
*I feel extremely exhausted...like sudden exhaustion...its been happening each day now..
*I vomitted shortly after dinner. (I vomitted about 6 times last week, one time it was dark green (not tonight)...gross)
*I've had pain on and off in my upper right abdomen along with pain in between my shoulders and my right shoulder since last week. On two different days last week I had what I imagined felt like labor contractions. My entire abdomen felt like it was being clamped all of the sudden and I lost my breath and grabbed a table or the counter.. It only lasted about 10-15 seconds at a time. Sort of like a charlie horse in my upper or entire abdomen. I've had that about six times..but not since Thursday. I do get an achy sort of pain under my right rib that comes and goes... but..I'd imagine gallstones would cause SEVERE pain. Right.? Not a dull ache with achy spasms and nausea (sometimes vomiting) after eating.?

How the heck can I tell if it's my infection coming back and IBS together or if it's somehow my gallbladder.?

Going to the ER sounds so silly to me. I've been too many times just to find out it's my IBS causing crazy pains.

The thing is..I'm not really in a whole lot of pain right now. Just incredibly drowsy...and sort of "cross eyed feeling"...like being in a fog and curious about my temp.

Is 99.5 even a fever.?

From what I've read, it sounds like you have gallstones. Instead of going to the ER, you can go to your family doctor and see if they can refer you to a doctor that can give you an MRI, ultrasound, or XRay to see if it is in fact your gallbladder.Health Question & Answer

Irritable Bowel Syndrome is often confused with Coeliac condition. Did your doctor exclude coeliac.? In case you don't know its a severe reaction to wheat in your diet. Or the gluten part of wheat to be exact. Blood tests and a stomach biopsy confirm or deny this condition. If confirmed all you would need to do would be to eat a gluten free diet and after a few months you would be OK. I was told I had IBS for two years until tests indicated I had coeliac. In the meantime I got worse and very run down due to anemia which is typical also of coeliac. Anyway hope you are feeling better soon. Health Question & Answer
