Well, whatever the wound, the first thing you should do is wash it very thoroughly with soap, then use peroxide. You cannot overwash, MRSA is running rampant and you DO NOT want that. If you're dealing with a deep cut, DO NOT USE PEROXIDE!!! Use bacitracin for the first couple days, and then allow it to get some air. If you keep a wound bandaged, it takes much longer to form a scab and heal.Health Question & Answer
