I live in CA and have been asked to go to Miami to look for little Cay Lee's remains. I recieved a parking ticket as I was taking my dad to the emergency room. Paid it the next day. No officer told me that I had to Talk to one of them and show them the receint tags. I think he was afraid of my dad dying as he almost did. Everything was fine, am preferred driver and 7 months later they told me that It had gone to warrent because of not telling an officer. My court date was set but on that day, my mom was in the hospital having a heart attack, so I went with her since I am their medical caregiverr. Months later I received a letter from the courts that it had gone to bench warrent. What is the right thing to do.? Lance was reguesteded because he is supurb at finding cadavers. Answers:
"Bench warrant" means that if you get stopped by the cops, it will show up when they run your driver's license. They will not send a SWAT team after you.
Take the dog to Florida for the search, and when you get back, take care of the bench warrant by calling the clerk of the court (the one who sent you the letter) and asking what to do.
Save all your paperwork, including the parents hospital admission proof, the request for the search dog, the plane ticket to FLA, and take it all to court with you.
