Is wheezing after exercise DEFINITELY asthma? ?!

Question: Is wheezing after exercise DEFINITELY asthma.? .?
I experience wheezing whe I'm out of shape, only after a strenuous workout. It never bothers me during day to day activity. I've never used an inhaler for it. Is this normal.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Yes it is .It is referred to as "Exercise Induced Asthma" And no it's not "Normal"...lol If it was everyone would have it.I have Asthma and i have it all the time not just during exercise. But i know few people that get it ONLY during or immediately after any heavy exercise.Their's is easily controlled with an Inhaler. You need to get one asap.My cousin waited to long and kept putting it off and he had one attack so severe after football practice that he was on the goround literally gasping for air and someone thought to use their own inhaler and puff it in his face while they was waiting on 911,,,,,,,,,,good thing they did otherwise something BAD may have happened ect....so what i'm getting at is do not screw around- it's nothing to mess with.Go get checked out and get an inhaler and be glad you dont have MY type of Asthma that i have had since age 5 and it never goes away,,,,:(
Take care :)Health Question & Answer

Do you get dizzy or feel like your not getting enough air.?

Asthma causes swelling and inflammation in the airways that lead to your lungs. When asthma flares up, the airways tighten and become narrower. This keeps the air from passing through easily and makes it hard for you to breathe. These flare-ups are also called asthma attacks or exacerbations.
