Take a very clean wash cloth and warm it with water.
Heat in micro a few seconds for extra warmth
apply, repeat, 10 on 10 off (minutes)..
Flip up your eye lid to be sure it's not an ingrown eye lash causing the sty - you can gently pull it out with a tweezer. (likely not the reason behind the sty but always worth checking)
Try the hot compresses a lot today and they make a sty cream at the drug store.
If it worsens tomorrow call the MD.Health Question & Answer

I am going to tell you something-If you do not believe it-so be it, but it is not just a "Old-wives tale", it is seated in science and biology on a cellular level to rid you of your sty.

However,this is the part that is hard to believe, get your hands on a "gold" ring-I am talking full gold, not gold looking, or coated over something else. Take the ring, and gently caresse the tear duct area and the whole sty-going in one direction only. I usually start gong out from the center. After some relief is felt I find it helpfull to caress toward the tear duct in the center of the eyes-as well. This changes the molecular structure in the cells-and starts the sty to go away. The very positive or negetive polar structure is changed, and that will rid you of the sty. It will still take a few days. But this is good-it isn't five or seven days. Try it. The hot compress is a good idea, also if it becomes very large and painful you may want to get it checked out, if you do need something for it they usually give eye drops. Health Question & Answer
