Best way to cover up hickies?!

Question: Best way to cover up hickies.?
Answers:
Here are a few ways you could try

THE NORMAL WAY:
The Alkaline battery method: This involves rubbing the negative end of an alkaline battery firmly against the hickey for about a minute or two. This won't give you the most perfect result, but it helps a bit.

The toothpaste method: This involves applying some toothpaste on the hickey spot, and then when you stop feeling the tingling sensation after a few minutes, remove the toothpaste from the surface of your skin with a warm washcloth. The peppermint in the toothpaste helps stimulate circulation of blood in the area where the hickey appears. This breaks down the blood clot in that area. You can repeat this procedure within 24 hours if you discover that you need to.

Please take note that it's wrong to apply too much pressure on the hickey. If you apply to much pressure, yes the blood clot would disappear, but you would be left with a bruise which won't look nice.

The Ice cube method: What you do here is simply wrap up some ice cubes in a towel to use as a compress. Please note that you are not supposed to apply the ice directly on the hickey. Remove the towel from the spot if the cold feeling becomes unbearable. Don't hold it on the spot too long.

Now, to the fast way to get rid of hickeys,

THE FAST WAY:
The cover up method: This simply means that you cover the spot by wearing clothes or fashion pieces like scarfs, turtleneck, a collared blouse or shirt, etc. Make sure it's well covered so no one sees it.

The make up method: If you are good at applying make up, you can try hiding the spot with green tinted concealed. This works well for red skin tones. You can apply a foundation, which could be just a little lighter than your skin.

The coin method: This method is a bit painful, but very effective when done correctly. What you do is first stretch your skin flat by pulling away from the hickey spot from two opposite sides. You then make use of the edge of a large coin to scrape the surface of the skin. Spread the skin as if you were applying butter on toast. Spread it outwards. Press it hard but not hard enough to give you blisters or to cause bleeding. This method leaves some redness on your skin, but this redness will clear off much faster than the hickey.

The spoon method: This involves placing a spoon in the freezer for a few minutes and then applying pressure on the hickey by sliding the spoon along the spot. The coldness and the pressure being applied will disperse the blood that has formed from the area. You could place several spoons in the freezer for this because you will need to use another spoon as soon as the coldness disappears from the one you are using.

The above are just some methods to show you a fast way to get rid of hickeys. Have some patience and it will disappear. Good luck!Health Question & Answer

Scarves I think are the winner there.
If feel like you have to use makeup, less is more - a big glob of concealer stands out more than your hickey would. Just dab on a little bit and blend. Health Question & Answer
