Nope, there's no reason why you should providing your condition stays as just asthma. I do see a pulmonolgist but I have Allergic Broncho-Pulmonary Aspergillosis! It's nasty and you don't want it! I also have asthma, which I've had all my life, I only began seeing a pulonologist when I developed ABPA.

No, it is not necessary. A PCP can take care of you just as good as a pulmonoligist. Plus it won't cost you as much to see your PCP as it would for you to see a specialists such as a Pulmonologist.Health Question & Answer
