I suffer with these quite often and have tried various ointments and remedies but honestly the best thing to do is let it go away by itself, usually its brought out by stress or maybe from a smokey environment or something you have eaten!Dont touch your eye and if you usually wear make up then DONT whilst you have this!

Try to relax a bit more and you will notice it dissapearing!

Enough with all these homespun hick methods.

First off, styes cure themselves whether you put rubbish on them or not. You are worried that you keep getting styes, this is not usual and you really need to see a doctor because you might have some tiny mites in your eyelash follicles which are causing the problem. They are pretty easy to get rid of but it does need a prescribed medicine. Don't worry, these little mites are very common and many people have them without causing a problem.
teabags.? gold rings.? so much nonsense!!

When your eye hurts and u feel like your coming up with a sty you should put a hot towel on it and leave it on while dabbing it from time to time. Then it is most likely that you wont get it anymore. Well, this worked for me so i hope it helps. As for the one you have now, i think you should use polysporin ointment.Health Question & Answer

When I had one, a lady at work rubbed a wedding ring on it, and sure enough, it went down within 5 mins, she did it again at 30 minute intervals for 2hrs and it was totally gone the next morning.

I know it sounds fake, I was skeptical too, but it actually works. It's something to do with the makeup of electrons apparently.Health Question & Answer

* Styes and chalazions can be treated by applying warm compresses. Apply for 10 minutes. Do this four times a day.
* Do NOT attempt to squeeze a stye or any other type of eyelid bump. Let it drain on its own.
* Antibiotic creams may help recurrent or persistent styes. Some large styes need to be lanced to drain the infection.

Health Question & Answer

rub it with a gold wedding ring, but better than that, put a cotton wall ball on a tea spoon, soak with boiling water, then GENTLY let the steam sooth you sty by holding it underneath your eye next to your cheek. Health Question & Answer
