How long will an ear piercing stay sore?!


Question: How long will an ear piercing stay sore.?
I got my ears pierced yesterday. The left ear is just a little sore, and not swollen. The right ear is a bit swollen and sore. How long will it take for the soreness to go away.? I am following the aftercare instructions and I am a nurse so I know it isn't infected. I just want to know how long they will be sore for.? Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Depends really, it could be just a few days to almost two weeks. It depends on how well you heal and if you hit it during the night or anything. I know when I got mine pierced it was sore for 2-3 days.Health Question & Answer
