Question: Possible signs of pituitary tumor.?
Body acts like pregnant but not. Diziness & severe fatigue. Trouble remembering words and at times very spacey and disconnected from surroundings (comatosed). Sensitivity to light, decreased ability to smell. Sensitive to minor changes in altitude as well as hot and cold. Used to run 30-40 miles per week but cant run at all now because body goes into panic mode before I hit 1 mile, shutsdown and I have cold sweats. Dull headaches everyday worst in morning and afternoons. Blood sugar, thyroid and chronic fatigue ruled out. No congestion, and advil and sinus meds don't relive symptoms. Small polyp found on sinuses but I think I may have something wrong with pituitary gland.? Any help.?Health Question & Answer

Have they done blood tests for a test called Prolactin.? Prolactin is generally elevated with Pituitary tumors. If a tumor is suspected your physician will also order an MRI.
