So, the first week of college, I got a UTI and didn't tell anyone because I had no idea what it was. Ended up turning into a bigger problem and went up into my kidney which then I had to go to the ER. They gave me anti-biotics and it went away in 9 days. And now, three months later, I have one again! I'm planning on going to the nurse today, but how could you help it not be so painful.? I feel like I constantly have to pee, but in fact, I don't have to. How do you cure a UTI.?Health Question & Answer

The only way to cure a UTI is to take antibiotics. You need to see a doctor for a prescription, and to try to find out why you are getting the UTIs so frequently. also, take ALL of the antibiotics the doctor prescribes. If you stop taking them when you feel better, but before they are all, there may be some left over bacteria that would have a chance to multiply and cause more problems.

there could b something going on that you need to see a doc about but I always got rid of them by using cranberry pills. They sell them at health food stores and also pure cranberry juice. You should see a doctor to get medicine. To prevent UTI my doctorr has suggested that I avoid taking bubble baths, wearing tight jeans, and you shoud wear cotton panties and try to drink some cranberry juice and also drink water. Health Question & Answer
