You can get Mono from drinking, eating, kissing another person. It can be passed through coughing, but that is less common than via mucus. See this web site:

It does take mono awhile to show up...meaning you could have 'caught it' 2 months ago~ but are now just seeing the symptoms. Again go to the site I listed and read about it. Just type in "MONO" into the search engine and there will be other web sites as well.

also~ if you do contact it~ it does not go away. And can reoccor... The site above tells about this. You can clear the symptoms, but the virus can act up again~ a good key to remember is to take care of yourself, eat well, drink plenty of water and get proper rest. Try to avoid stress as that weakens your entire body system.
Remember if you have it, you'll need to rest, even when you think your feeling better. It wipes you out and takes a while to get your strength built back up.
I hope you do not have it, but if you do, remember it IS something you can live with.
