Do poeple with asthma tend to cough more when around people who smoke?!
Question: Do poeple with asthma tend to cough more when around people who smoke.?
Answers:
Yes, smoke is an irritant. People with asthma have hypersensitive lungs and will cough and may very well have an asthma attack. People with asthma should not be around anyone who is smoking.Health Question & Answer
Yes! EVERYONE should stay away from smokers, particularly children. I am a life-long asthmatic and former smoker, and when I see a child exposed to smoke and then coughs during the following days and often ends up in the hospital ER strugling to get every breath it almost breaks my heart. The child can do nothing to improve his environment, and the smoker is too selfish to do so. The child's condition will worsen and he will one day be dependent upon the medical community and medications (to say nothing of the discomfort of fighting to breathe normally) to live a normal, happy life, which he has a right to. It also becomes pretty darned expensive.Health Question & Answer
