Your rescue inhaler which you use for asthma is meant to help with bronchodilation from the asthma itself, which means that it opens up your smaller airways. This will not help with the flu or other viral infections whatsoever, so you should probably get some meds that are meant to help flu symptoms and stop using your inhaler for that.Health Question & Answer
