Question: Do inhalers have expiry dates.?
I had an asthma attack yesterday, and used an inhaler I bought 5 years ago, but it didn't work at all. I threw away the packaging that came with it, so I was wondering if inhalers have expiry dates.?Health Question & Answer

inhalers normally last for 2-3 years just pull the cylinder out of the inhaler they have printed dates on them

ya they do usually 2 years after manufacture. using expired ones is ok though for like a year, it doesnt harm you but isnt as effective. you can find the expiry date if you pull the metal canister out of the plastic holder Health Question & Answer
Yes they do- All meds breakdown and lose their potency so they basically all have expire dates. Get a new inhaler and check the packaging carefully so you don't wind up in the ER.Health Question & Answer
