Question: I've noticed my skin hurts whenever i touch it. any type of rub hurts. is not an itch/dryness, its pain. why.?
I think maybe is because is cold now my skin is sensitive to it but is not like its an itch or dryness, i moisturize every day. it feels like it could also be muscle related, its hard to tell because i feel it on the surface of my skin and not deep in the muscles. it is worst on my sides but i also feel it on my arms. if anyone has any ideas as to why, i would appreciate it.Health Question & Answer

I have experienced the exact same thing! I've had my skin hurt to the point it hurt to just run water on my skin. I get it every so often and I think it's either an auto-immune reaction or it has something to do with the nerves that run close to the surface of the skin. Either way it is weird, because as you said, it doesn't involve the muscles. Aspirin did give me a little relief.Health Question & Answer
