Does neosporin really help scars?????!

Question: Does neosporin really help scars.?.?.?.?.?
Answers:
Skin heals better (faster) when it is kept moist. also, what really helps scars is the massaging of the area because it increases circulation to the area. I was told this by a plastic surgeon. I would not use any type of antibiotic unless I absolutely had to do so. Health Question & Answer

Neosporin really does help scars, but I've found that African Shea Butter is a little bit more effective. Shea butter will also help clear away any current acne that you may have.

I'm pretty sure that there are separate ointments and medications that are specifically designed to clear acne scars, though.
Consult a skin-care doctor.Health Question & Answer

NO.... as a matter of fact, the doctor told my daughter to NEVER use it for acne because there was a very good chance that the bacteria responsible for acne may become resistant to the antibiotics in it and it will just make the situation that much more difficult to handle and treat.
He recommended the over the counter stuff "Clearasil" and if that didn't work, he would prescribe some heavy-duty stuff or even try ultraviolet light therapy.
If it becomes to much of a problem for you, just arrange an office visit with you doctor..

Hope this helps you out !!! Health Question & Answer
