Question: Seeing a dermatologist.? Cost.?
I'm 21 and still have pretty bad acne...biggest problem are my big pores and breakouts of pimples about once a month. I've tried several things, but absolutely nothing has helped.
So I was thinking of seeing a dermatologist. Around how much does it usually cost to see one if you don't have any health insurance.?
If it's expensive, what do you suggest I should do.? I've already tried Proativ and other acne treatments like that.

If you dont have a family doctor, try calling around and find a family dr that is well educated in treating acne. A dermotologist is very expensive, and you might get the same treatment at a regular physicians office for half or more of the price.
A few tips to help along the way. Hair gels etc are a nono. Change your pillow case daily and wash in hot water. Wash your face with warm water a few times aday, just water and a soft towel gently. Health Question & Answer
