I have a brother law that has drink for many years he is 50 one day he got sick and threw up for weeks and got so weak he had to go to hospital and went though the with draws and hasn't had a drink in 6 months but is is not acting right he does crazy things and his thinking isn't the same this has been going on now for these 6 months some days are better than others but most days he is confused does anyone know or have been though this what can be done for him to get back to normal any kind of medicine that will help.Health Question & Answer

Your brother in law is just experiencing alcohol withdrawal. it is very common in people that take drugs, people that are smoking and constantly drinking and try to stop immediately. try to desensitize or give him alcohol but in moderation and slowly lower the amount each time you give him the alcohol. in the long run his body will accepts the amount and eventually get used without having an alcohol.Health Question & Answer
